About Us
Paul Dunbar is a native of Cottage Grove, MN growing up in the house his parents still live in. In 1990 he decided to head west and seek his fortune. What he found in Seattle was much greater and her name is now Carrie Dunbar. They married and not long after formed Sound Tile and Marble in 1993. In 1999 the Dunbar's and Sound Tile moved back to MN. Paul studied and worked for two other companies at first. He honed his skills in both high end residential and high volume commercial tile work for the next few years.
A few years ago Paul became interested in concrete countertops and other decorative concrete products. Paul studied with the Something Better Company in Phoenix AZ and is now one of the certified trainers for SBC. He works with SBC in product development as well as training. So the new company name is Sound Tile and Concrete Surfaces. Paul and Carrie both are excited to make your home or business more beautiful and unique with solid, proven methods and products.
